WKDZ 106.5 FM is not just another country music station. We play a unique blend of today’s hits, yesterday’s favorites and country classics.  About 40% of our songs are traditional country, which has a tremendous appeal with the 35-64 year old listener.  WKDZ-FM is the region’s dominant radio news source, providing 6 newscasts each weekday including 6:00 A.M., 7:00 A.M., 8:00 A.M., 9:00 A.M., Noon, and 5:00 P.M.  The Noon and 5:00 P.M. newscasts are the area’s only 1-hour newscasts.  Each newscast includes FOX National News, KNN State News, Regional News, and Local News.  The ”KDZ Country Club”, which airs 6:00 - 9:00 A.M. weekdays, is one of the most popular programs on the air. Drew Wilson in the mornings from 9:00 – Noon is the newest addition to the WKDZ air staff.  Drew can help you start your country music day. “On The Air with Carrie” airs weekdays from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Carrie is a highly talented on-air personality, and you will be amazed at how just listening to her can brighten your day! Also highly popular is the “Live Afternoon Drive with Bill Booth” from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.  You never exactly know what might be featured on the afternoon drive from “name that pig” to “reports from Zambia”!  WKDZ-FM is a 25,000-watt radio station focusing on Western Kentucky, Stewart and Montgomery County, Tennessee.

OLDIES 1480 and 1110 BOOMER RADIO is the baby boomers’ dream come true station, playing all of the hits from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.  The two AM stations air the same great oldies format, so listeners can listen from further away, and the signal is streamed at www.oldies1480.com.  Advertisers benefit from double the coverage area.  Thousands of listeners literally heard the original rock and roll songs we play today on this very same station when it was WKOA.  OLDIES 1480/1110 BOOMER RADIO is 2 Great Stations Combined Into 1!  One of the most popular programs on WHVO is “Hoptown This Morning” with Mike Crowder, weekday mornings 6 – 9AM.  High school baseball and softball debuted on 1480 and 1110 in Spring 2007, featuring games of Trigg County High, Hopkinsville High, Christian County High, and University Heights Academy.  As of August 2007, Oldies 1480 is the VOICE OF THE FT.
